Im not sure what this is supposed to do. It has 5 launcher points and a heavy launcher takes 100pg each leaving only 30mw to fit 4 mids and 2 lows. ...I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Did you completely forget about Advanced Weapons Uprades (-2% powergrid need for turrets and launchers per level) and Engineering (5% bonus to power grid per level)? Not to be a jerk, but, seriously.
No I didnt forget about them. What is your point. This is about the base stats on the ships not about skills.
Try fitting 4 720's on a rupture (without having engineering@lvl 4) kthxbai.

You're saying that you don't have much grid left when fitting 5 of your largest launcher onto ur ship when using basestats. I'm saying I can't fit 4 of my largest guns onto my ship using basestats.

It might have something to do with said guns coming in 2-3 size/fitting variants, while said launcher comes in just one size. -.^
Assault Launchers (ok, they might be crap, but 650's aren't that good either)

Well, yeah, but the d150 will be having a ~9km optimal where the heavies will hit stuff at 30-35km (calculated using basestats and tired brain). The problem is prolly that there is no real short range medium launcher.

Edit. I'm not saying that's it's ok that the caracal's pg is getting nerfed, but your reasoning as to why it's wrong is flawed IMO.
Ok. I guess we agree to disagree. Just keep in mind those largest weapons are the only cruiser size weapon that a caracal can fit that uses cruiser size ammo. The only other choice is to fit assault launchers and fire frigate ammo. That is not a lot of choices.
You have how many medium sized turret options?

Meh. I dun mind a falloff bonus. Falloff's one of the best thing about projectiles.
I'd much rather see a 5/4/5 layout than anything else on the ruppy tbh.
